If, at any stage whilst this firm is acting for you, you are unhappy about our representation or advice, Mr Ake will be willing to discuss this with you. In the first instance, please telephone this office and explain exactly what is causing you concern. If your problems cannot be resolved over the telephone, Mr Ake will ask you to write a letter and address it for his personal attention, whereupon he will deal with it and notify you in writing. This procedure is one we are obliged to follow in the event of a complaint but of course, we hope this will never be necessary.

In the event we can assist & accept instructions; once we have considered all the evidence available to us in the case we will advise you further as to your plea or position as well as strength of evidence against you or as appropriate the strength of your case against another. There could be a detrimental effect on the outcome of the case if you fail to give us full and proper instructions and fail to respond to correspondence throughout the life span of this case. If you secure the benefit of public funding your funding could also be affected if you fail to supply the information requested by ourselves and/or the Court or you do not notify the relevant parties of any change in your circumstances. We will keep you informed as appropriate as to the progress of your case but invite your comments/instructions and look forward to seeing you. We will of course inform you should there be any change in circumstances in the evidence which is disclosed to us.
